304 or 316 stainless?
304 suits most locations. 316 resists salt better, so it's the right choice near the coast or where road salt is heavy.
Will it rust?
Stainless doesn't rust in normal conditions. In harsh, salty spots, 316 plus an occasional wipe keeps it looking new.
Can stainless letters be lit?
Yes, with a halo light behind them. The faces stay solid metal.
